As a second-generation engineer, Nick was immersed in math, science, and construction at a young age. Even after spending time working on house rehabilitations and new builds with his dad, it took until high school for Nick to truly recognize engineering as his calling. While attending NDSU, Nick was involved with many student organizations but his involvement with steel bridge team confirmed Structural Engineering was the direction he wanted to head. Nick was able to join Sandman as an intern and transition to a full-time position upon graduation. Throughout his time at Sandman, Nick has gained experience with several of the niche markets that Sandman serves, focusing primarily on fabricator services, industrial, and electrical power. He enjoys taking on new challenges and developing unique solutions for customers.
When not at work, you can find Nick at home with his family and friends often times around the grill. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, working around the house, in the country, or on the golf course.
